the first one came in in the predawn hours on friday and produced the heaviest rains from the city northwestward. in some cases rain totals were up about an inch or maybe little more than that. there were two bands of rain there through baltimore county into howard county and then out parts of west carroll county and frederick county. then later in the day we had that second band of rain come through late afternoon, early evening last evening. that produced severe weather. you see another band of rain went right over what occurred in the morning. that was that second band that generated the tornado warning last night. there were gusty winds. no ro taying at the surface reported there. quite a bit of rain. some of these areas in baltimore county and hartford county got close to 2 inches of rain or maybe little more than that. some total for the entire day during the day yesterday. this morning we're cooling down now. 58 on the board walk. par kins down to 47. frederick 46. all the way down to 39 in oakland. that's downright frosty. here's the satellite picture. stormy weather off shore. new engla
